Before the game starts:

The dealer delivers two cards for each player and two cards for the house. The players’ cards are faced up while one of the dealer’s card is faced down. At least, in most casinos.

The players always start the game, and after it is the dealer’s turn. Once the game starts, there are different strategies: to ask for another card, to split the cards or to surrender. The dealer`s movement is the last. After the dealer faces up the hole card… It’s time to check who reaches or is close to 21 or who is over 21 (busting) and leaves the game.

In every hand, players can only ask for another card if the total of the hand is below 17. Any player with a hand over 17 must leave the game.

(If players got a total number above 17 and they asked for another card, there would be a high chance of busting).
